These pictures are from an attack on an Afghan government building. A suicide bomber blew the front gate and five guys rushed it. They began firing at anyone, two detonating their vests. Three remained and took over the building. Local ANP responded but were not able to secure the building. We were nearby and responded.

The first pic is a view of the front of the building, you can see where explosives went off.

The second pic is of a truck being loaded with all the bodies.

The next few pics are just some of the carnage from the whole event.

The picture just before the bodies is actually of burnt flesh and brains. We weren't sure at first until our medic was done helping some of the wounded and told us they were in fact human brains.

The next few pics are from a very crispy critter. He was in a building standing next to a bunch of fuel cans and when we threw an M67 grenade in they set of the secondaries and he was cooked well done. You can actually see his skull where all of the skin was burned off his face.

The last few pics are of a Taliban after getting hit in the chest with M320, or so we think. No RPGs or other rockets were fired into the building and we only threw that one grenade. We were firing 320s (fires the same 40mm round as a 203) into there and that's the only thing that makes sense. We did not fire any large crew serve weapons, nor did he have an s-vest on.
