Iran Air Fokker 100 Emergency Landing - October 2, 2012
The left nosewheel unexpectedly dropped down while Iran Air flight IR-208 was departing from Tehran's Mehrabad Airport for a flight to Ahwaz. The pilots stopped the ascent, burned off fuel and were forced to make an emergency landing using the plane's rear wheels. No one was hurt in the incident and the passengers were provided with a replacement flight.

I always wonder, in cases like this where the plane is still perfectly fly-able, why they don't just continue on to their destination and *then* land. That way the fuel is not wasted and they don't have to book a replacement flight.
