Now already ex-World Champions Italians knocked out as Slovakia progresses to second round of World Cup.

In a nerve-cracking game Slovakia, after already been written off by almost everybody, has beaten ex-Champions Italy by 3:2.
After leading by 2:0 and 3:1 Slovaks in the end managed to avoid draw and secure a positive, forward-leading result.

Italians got back in the game twice, by goals of Antonio Di Natale in 81st minute and Fabio Quagliarella in 90th minute ... making the game a pure drama piece.

Scorers for Slovakia were Robert Vittek in 25th and 73rd minute and Kamil Kopunek in 89th minute.

Meanwhile, in Polokwane, only one goal stood between New Zealand, the other total outsider, and the WC's second round.
Game between them and Paraguay ended 0:0 ...
Btw, Kiwi All Whites finished their WC tour without being defeated ...

Below is the video of Slovakian second goal.

Be free to comment and share your thoughts about this (up to now, WC's 2010 most interesting) game.

My sympathies, of course, go to Slovaks - total outsiders ...
