US Free RangeFarm - To be SHUT DOWN by Corporates + Govt

A family farm in rural Michigan may be shut down by a Government Entity
who has passed a law stating that the breed of hogs they are raising are
a threat to neighboring croplands. In truth, the Big Pork Industry has
been planning this campaign to take down all family farms with hopes to
eventually siege complete control of the American Food Supply. This
short-film was created with hopes to inspire the public to take action.

I feel so strongly about this because it is their produce that I wish to purchase.
In NZ pigs destined for the supermarkets are farmed in crates, where they can not even turn around.
It is DISGUSTING.

    Let the consumer decide.

    Regulations MUST BE STOPPED!!

Farmers must be allowed to farm as they see fit. Organic and free range farmers are being regulated whilst this cruelty is hidden behind blank supermarket labels in supermarkets.

BUY FROM THE FARM - NOT THE SUPERMARKET. And you can only do that in a FREE MARKET!

A FREE MARKET IS what capitalism is all about.

  • If I was a pig and only raised to be killed and eaten. This is where I would want to be raised! This is farming and if I were an American I would be embrassed (I mean the Americans that are trying to screw over this man and his lively hood). This Mark and his family are not rich as we can tell but they earn an honest living so let them be you communist bastards!!

  • What do you expect of a government that fabricates evidence to start wars, imprisons or kills civilians without trials and puts them under torture?

I'll tell you what to expect: blowback.

  • Those hogs are the kind sold to game Farms for "sportsmen" to go and shoot in caged enclosures in "Chinese Auctions". Those kinda russian breeds are the kind that when they escape they destroy local enviroments Europe and Texas have major problems with them, as well as Southern states.
Even here in Pa we have had problems with game Farm escapees (never reported either) that breed and proliferate in the wild.
Domesticated breeds like the pink porkers are much less likely to g More..

  • If anybody wants to hunt and eat free range wild razorbacks and russians they can go to Texas and shoot all they want. You can even use a helicopter. Fill up truckloads with the carcasses. eat them if you want. they taste like shit, unlike the pink porkers farmers usually raise. This guy is seelling them for fenced hunting farms. If they get loose they will devestate not just his area, but the region.

  • If it's a genuine threat to neighboring croplands, then there needs to be amicable discussions on how to make it work. There's no government takeover happening. That's a reckless opinion and not well thought out. It's one thing to feel strongly about a particular thing, but another to just let yourself speak and act thoughtlessly without using the benefit of intellect, which this posting is doing.
