LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday said former UNLV football player Demario Reynolds had ecstasy, cocaine and alcohol in his system when he got into a fight and died at the Luxor hotel June 19.
“Other significant conditions include physical altercations,” officials told FOX5.
Reynolds’ death has been ruled a homicide.
Witnesses said the 26-year-old fell unconscious after brawling with 25-year-old Jason Sindelar, a mixed martial arts fighter who was later charged with murder.
Reynolds’ fiancée, Iman Aubry, told police the two men got into a fight when Reynolds tried to stop Sindelar from hitting his girlfriend, Charmaine Kemp.
Sindelar, who has been free on bail, appeared in court Tuesday morning.
Prosecutors plan to pursue the murder charge, but a new arrest warrant will not be issued, because he was previously arrested.
