A quick briefing on the current state of islamic militancy in the occupied North Caucasus and inside Tartarstan (both muslim majority areas)







In Kazan, Tarstan (Idel-Ural) Mujahideen units who have pledged allegiance to the Islamic Emirate of the North Caucasus recently made a declaration of the tidings of Jihad against those who are imposing man made laws and working in co-operation with the Russian authorties in oppressing and occupying the muslim oil and gas rich north caucasus region.







They quickly followed up on their promise (click here for more info and sources).







On the 24th October, fighting errupted when Russian Police/Military units surrounded a building to target the militants the Kazan Herald reports.






2 mujahideen are reported to have been granted martyrdom in the fighting. 1 Russian commando was officially reported as being killed by a grenade.



Some sources say that 2 Russian units were killed and 3 were wounded in the fighting. In warfare it is normal to want to try and conceal fatalities among any faction. Allegedly, the mujahideen were fighting only with pistols and grenades.




Shortly after the fighting the Kazan police were shocked by the public display of support for the mujahideen when a convoy of cars passed by a checkpoint baring the flags of islam.







Ana Amelina, sector manager for Caucasus Studies of the Russian Institute of Strategic Studies, gave an interview in which she spoke about the Jihad in Russia. She said,



"



All the latest events show: all what experts have long warned - an armed underground force in Tatarstan is already a reality, they are real people, armed with real guns, and they kill the security forces.



Thus, the situation in Tatarstan is clearly developing according to Dagestan scenario, up to special operations in the five-storey buildings.



We may assume that the underground has support among some of the local authorities. In light of that logic, this version of events cannot be discounted, it has a right to exist. "







In Dagestan



According to an American expert on Russia Paul Goble on his blog Window on Eurasia with reference to Moscow sociologist Yana Amelina, one in every three Dagestanis supports the Jihad in the Russian-occupied Caucasus Emirate.





Amelina published these figures in an article in a Moscow KGB national-patriotic newspaper Zavtra.







In Chechnya



The ringleader of the Russian backed traitors and son of apostatised spy Kadyrov (Kafir-ov), recently announced after several years of allegations that there were only 50 Mujahideen in Chechnya , Kadyrov finally reduced the number to 40 people. In this case, the ringleader announced that all 40 Mujahideen were insane and/or mentally abnormal, and their commanders are using this:







"They (i.e., commanders) can find young people who are weak-willed, mentally retarded, with mental disorders and involve them in their ranks", declared the Russian puppet.







It is to be recalled that recently, the ringleader of the Kremlin Putin said that in recent months about 800 Mujahideen have been killed and/or captured in the Caucasus Emirate,. Chechnya and Dagestan are the flashpoitns of the conflict in the Caucasus. It is incredible that after all the years of servitude that Russia still steamroll the propaganda of their allies with their own.







Meanwhile, the regime's 'muslim' scholars continue to provide support in distorting and destroying the religion of islam. This is something which is very common in the muslim world were dictators and unpopular rulers are in place.
