Kim Kardashian might have political aspirations in her future, but she hasn't stopped doing what she does best – looking hot at red carpet events.

The reality star, who made headlines after saying she wanted to be mayor of Glendale, California sometime in the next few years, turned out in a sexy silver dress for US Weekly's Hot Hollywood party last night.

Kardashian's metallic strapless number was designed by Catherine Malandrino, and it looked especially chic paired with hot pink heals, heals that Kim had been searching low and high for. Kim tweeted before the event, "I've waited sooo long for the perfect hot pink heel! I'm in love!"

No word on whether or not rumored boyfriend Kanye West approved of the ensemble, but seeing as how gorgeous the 31-year-old starlet looked, it's safe to assume Mr. West approved.
