UN Human Rights Council: Defeating Freedom of Expression
The UN 'Human Rights Council' adopts an amendment to its resolution on Freedom of Expression that would ban statements against religion. The amendment was proposed by the Organization of Islamic Countries. As a result, many Western countries withdraw their sponsorship of the resolution. Free expression is suppressed in the name of Islam.
