Gibbs vs. MSNBC Panel Over Over Controversial Super PAC Ad

The folks at "Morning Joe" piled onto former White House spokesman Robert Gibbs Wednesday, pressing him to condemn a controversial new ad by a Super PAC supporting Obama.

The ad, by the Priorities USA pac shows a man saying that, after Mitt Romney's former company Bain closed his plant, he lost his health care and could not afford his wife's cancer treatments. His wife died, he says, in 22 days.

  • Gibbs repeatedly tried to justify the premise of the ad. I think it is safe to say he and the Prez knew of it and approve of it. There was absolutely nothing here that would lead one to a different conclusion.

    Even this MSNBC panel (except for the ditzy blonde) saw through his hypocrisy. Gibbs is 100% on board with the Chicago community agitators agenda & his politics of personal destruction. He wouldn't even commit to saying something against a knowingly over the top & false ad. There More..

  • Distressed companies pay Bain's fees because they think it will save the company. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. If there was a better way out or if Bain had a reputation for destroying companies, no one would hire Bain.

    Bain is no more to blame for this man's plight than a doctor who may have tried to save his wife's life.

  • Gibbs is so full of sheet I smell him from here, The ad about the Cancer has been fact checked and found to be false and her death was way later. With or without health care where I live in WVa you aren't refused services. Health Insurance or not how do you afford a $100o pill every day?
    Because of Obamacare many people will lose coverage, it will be cheaper to pay the penalty than cover all the employees.

  • THE AD IS A LIE:

    "The ad did not reveal key details about the timeline of Soptic's case. First, Soptic's wife initially had her own health insurance after her husband lost his job. Second, Soptic's wife died in 2006, five years after her husband's company, GST, filed for bankruptcy. And long after Romney had left Bain Capital."

  • It is coming out now that this man in this ad had Insurance on his 2nd job but never put his wife on that policy and she died 7 years after he left the job Bain owned.
    Bill Burton is responsible for this and he worked for Obama
