Selling Transport
an unusual little film from 1937, an old LMS railway (London Midland and Scottish) educational film entitled 'Selling Transport'. The railways during the 1930's were an exciting and busy place, all the major companies were experimenting with faster and more powerful locomotives and had salesmen going out and about selling their companies services - as usual the detail is often in the background. marvellous old vehicles abound in this period piece of the times well before the War came that changed the fabric of British life forever.
please note; this is a rail related film from the 1930's and is probably only of interest to aficionado's of the genre... click wisely now.
