As a wise biker, friend of mine, once said:
"i had accidents with and without helmet - i prefer those with the helmet"
As a former biker myself, with some accidents wearing helmet, i am wise enough to accept his wisdom!
(the biker in the video maybe would had an eye less or something like that without the helmet)
ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET FELLOWS!!!

Better to get lodged under that helmet than to have peeled off part of his face.

Good ending here. Usually in motorsports these days it's the flook/random things that cause the most trouble, like a piece of debris taking just the right bounce, or hitting the catch fence at just the right angle, etc.

I am still alive because I wore a helmet, but didn't wear it correctly. I hadn't secured my chin strap. Car drove over my head, head popped out, helmet was totally crushed, I didn't have a scratch. If I had secured my chinstrap I would be dead, or have very serious head trauma at least. Helmets can save, helmets can kill. But 99% of the time they will save your life. Ride safe and wear a helmet ;)

listen up folks cuz this is a true story. i have a very extensive history with all sorts of high performance machines. and i was one of the best motocrossers on the planet in my day.
i always wore a helmet. however one time i did not wear a helmet.
after getting on my yz125 w/o a helmet it took me exactly 25 seconds to
have a fatal motorcycle accident.
of course im alive now. but technically it took me all of about 25 seconds
& one eighth of a mile to have a fatal crash.
one time w/o a h More..

its a shame your insecurities allow you to go completely off topic for a measly attempt at foolish communication considering i've rated a few of your comments up.

if you flatline its a fatality.
if revival takes place then your status is moved to survivor.
just because someone is resuscitation doesn't mean a fatality didn't occur. in fact it makes the fatality even more important for research etc :)
thanx for yer reply.

Get a grip there , you said fatal , that means dead .
The other thing was just humour , but whatever .
And I used to own a bike shop , and did my own pre-sale competence test . You couldn't handle the particular machine , I wasn't selling you it .
Fuck it .
