Looks like he was a bit too low when he ejected, otherwise it would have been highly improbable that he'd come down so close to the wreckage. There's pretty strong wind if you look at the smoke.

@Shattaan Pilot waited too long to eject, note the blood coming out his mouth is dusty from the hard landing.
He may have taken some potshots while falling in his chute, and while that may not be sporting its also not a good place to be in the snackbarrio right now...
