I'd think the WORST thing to do would be to feed it. As gently as possible get it off your kayak and keep it at arms (plus paddle) length away. Don't let it keep associating people with food or it will bother everyone. Not everyone is going to thing it's cute or funny to have a seal jump in their kayak. Someone could get badly bitten at some point. Wildlife is for observing, not so much for interacting with. Just my opnion
