Terrorists fired at least one rocket at Israel's southern resort city of Eilat Wednesday night. No injuries or damage were reported.
Reports of large explosions had security forces canvassing the city. The remnants of a grad rocket were eventually found on a residential construction site.
The defense establishment believes the fire emanated from Sinai. The police said that so far, no special security orders have been issued for residents and tourists.
One resident, Guy, said he heard three blasts and sirens blaring. Another resident reported hearing a loud blast shortly after midnight.
Over the past few years, several Katyusha rockets have been fire from Sinai at Eilat. Several rockets were fired at the city two years ago.
In August 2010, five rockets exploded in Eilat and Aqaba. A Jordanian taxi driver was killed and several were injured in Aqaba. There were no injuries in Israel.
Last August, a deadly terror attack near Eilat claimed the lives of 8 people.

BS Aydeo..we hear about it everyday. Our president went to Sderot for a "feel sorry for israel" tour in fornt of hundreds of rockets. Don't see him going to gaza or the west bank. yeah...we dont care aydeo...we only go w/o national healthcare and other needed social programs so we can fund weapons systems for your country and mine.

As in previous cases world media will give it very little coverage, nothing in compare to the coverage of building houses in E.Jerusalem, and if Israel will decide to operate inside Sinay (it probably won't but if..) it will be accused as an agressor...
That is exactly how it was after the multiple deadly terror attacks on the border with Sinay, in last August.

@aydeo So what do you reckon, throw a blockade around Egypt?
Do you support banning dangerous goods like 'coriander' from Egypt as well as Gaza?

I don't reckon nothing since i'm not a military advisor or a diplomat.
But seems that according to you it is perfectly ok for such kind of terror attacks coming from inside egypt, while israel is not allowed to respond...
Since the situation inside Sinay got very very badly since the uprising over there, while Egypt don't give any shit about it,seems to me that if such kind of attacks will continue (and they will, since they are carry out by radical Islamist groups) there will More..

So what is your solution to the situation in Sinay...let me guess- Israel should keep taking such kind of attacks and shut up about it...

How the hell do these guys manage to sneak grads' around under Israeli satellites?
And how the hell does the first picture have a smoke trail from a rocket without any impact dust?

Makes sense about launch, just assumed it was from Israel side. Surely the Israelis have pretty good surveillance both on ground and from the air (and sats?).. Always suprized that the military can't do that yet (track people/look for missiles automatically), but they claim to be able to intercept all communications? Both are huge amounts of data and processing.

yeah true, but Israel is setting up this rocket defence at the moment. Think its called Iron Dome. Its designed not to target rockets which land in the middle of no where and shoots down rockets which are on target. Guess they chose it over the surveillance alternative; coz Gaza is fuckin tiny, it shouldnt be that hard to keep an eye out, but now the border is open to Egypt aswell so guess that doesnt help.

Nicely explained. That's a pretty good system, instead of shooting at everything! And probably no matter what you do for surveillance, you can always get around it, so the Israelis went for the best failsafe they could do.

Palestinians remind me of the bad 'lululululu' guys in Power Rangers. Come running in like retards and all die before they can do any damage at all.

Tens of thousands of attempted rocket attacks on civilians and they still cant hit fuck all. Luckily for them Rafah boarder is open with the Muslim Brotherhood. Should get better weapons than the shit they get from the aid flotillas, Iran and Hezbollah.

This item is about a grad rocket on a very important resort location in Israel, coming from Egypt territory, and it's certainly not the first time...yet you choose as usual to ignore the item, and divert the attention to something else.
And then you expect us to believe you are not horribly one-sided about all of this.
Of course we will never hear you saying something like- 'Egypt must operate and stop such kind of attacks', maybe because you actually enjoy it...
And the mos More..

It is us Muslims that agree with this prisoner exchange of 1 Jew = 1,067 Arab Muslims.
Why do we as Muslims agree to this that Jews are worth so much more than Muslims?
We Muslims have brought dishonor upon Islam and the prophet (pbuh) by agreeing that 1 Jew is worth 1,067 Muslims. We must stop this inequality! Inshallah. Help make this more equal and ask Hamas to send back 1,066 Palestinians to Israel immediately.

We should buy them MLRS systems to really rock the fuck out of israel. They need a good ass-kicking for STEALING American elections and money. Let them stand on their own and the world will see just how "TOUGH" they are without big daddy America standing behind them to back em up.
I say again: FUCK ISREAL
