Syrian army cleans Aleppo's main parts from armed thugs
The Syrian army won a significant victory when "rebels" withdrew from the embattled district of Salaheddin in western Aleppo. The "rebels" have declared a "tactical retreat" and ran away ;)

who are the terrorists??
"Hezbollah has close relations with Iran (PRESS TV). It also has ties with the Alawite leadership in Syria, specifically with President Hafez al-Assad (until his death in 2000) and his son and successor Bashar al-Assad. Hezbollah has declared its support for the ongoing al-Aqsa intifada."
"Hezbollah, (literally "Party of Allah" or "Party of God") is a Shi'a Islamic militant group and political party based in Lebanon. It recei More..

@zadok
whatever, just letting you know that all parties involved in this civil war have direct links to terrorism. Calling the other side terrorists is like calling them Arabs, both sides fit the bill.

@nkdmansam Syria (like Libya) has a legitimate government. Support from outside one side (and you can see videos of these criminals here) is totally politically uncorrect imao. Then why not also bombard China where human rights does not exist? Hypocrisy.

Good work SAA. Get rid of the Al-Qaeda terrorists. Another country falling to these fanatics means another country we have to invade to deal with them. I'd rather our soldiers were used in times of need than having to go in and mop up Syria after the Islamic Extremists get a foothold and create another warzone with their filthy literature and beliefs.

The syrian government continues to claim victory after victory, but the holding of territory is not paramount in insurgencies. Look no further than Afghanistan for proof of this. The SAA will retreat, regroup, and continue to whittle away at Assad's forces. Assad clings to power through force alone; he has already lost all international legitimacy. Victory over the insurgency or not, Assad will not last, though the regime itself might survive.

Again, my friend Maya (Press TV) walks around the same 4 blocks. Why did they not film ANY of the Salah al Din landmarks - like the Salah mosque, Zubayr mosque etc.? Because they just filmed the same 4 blocks again and again. I agree that the SAA is pounding the FSA in Aleppo but this is just more Assad propaganda. There is also video of the same commander from 7 days ago stating that this area was 100% recaptured.
