Here is a report from a whistle blowing former Queensland Transit police officer speaking out about brutality in the handling of offenders. He blames the abuse on the training methods for dealing with offenders and fears that someone will get seriously hurt or killed by the transit police.
Damning videos like this will hurt the Anna Bligh led Queensland Government, as well as the Australian Kevin Rudd led Federal Government, and many people are now starting to believe that move towards Internet Censorship is also intended to help protect the governments and their law agencies avoid this type of embarrassment.
Stand up and fight for your rights Australia!

In my opinion it appears as though the transit police in Queensland are above the law, the blame must surely be placed at the chief of police's door, someone has to be held accountable for these actions dispicable actions, it seems as though a change in management is over due in that department.

The solution is smaller government.
It always is. Contacting your representatives is useless.. if they even manage to get anything done, it's always just a band aid for the problem and is temporary. Smaller government, in the U.S. and abroad is the only solution, to government expanding power, taxes, wars etc...
This fact is said so often, but falls on deaf ears, as people continue to vote for people like Obama or McCain, who both have little idea or initiative for smaller government.
I do More..

Typical Rentacops exceeding their authority.
I'm all for protecting other rail users, but these thugs must be made to answer for their own thuggish behaviour.

You are absolutely spot on here. One thing I have noticed in Queensland is a trend to use private security officers in public policing roles or 'rent-a-cops' as you call them.
Local councils also now hire security contractors to provide security in the CBDs of the towns & cities in Queensland. We can see that Q-Rail has been made to employ security contractors by the Queensland government in order to make using public transport much more safer.
Because of the budget the government allocate More..

"the incident we exposed two weeks ago" what incident? another example of ambush one sided drive by media reporting.
the transit officer sounds like a friggen idiot and looks like a roid monkey and the reporter looks like a spoiled teenage brat who needs a slap.

If I travel to visit Australia you can bet I won't be visiting Queensland.
