Indian Nationals Computer Scam (BEWARE)

So, the other day at work I received a fishy call from Microsoft. Apparently, anyone of our four work computers were infected with some horrible spyware/virus. After being very suspicious in the first place of "Microsoft Technical Support" calling out of the blue without us contacting them, my suspicions doubled when the fellow with an extreme Indian accent asked me to open my event viewer. As soon as he asked I ask for specifics on the reason for this "virus check" and how he knew of this. His retort was quick and utterly retarded! He said, "Microsoft Technical support has been monitoring our computers for viruses and found one," on which p.c he didn't know and he wanted to point out what it was and how to fix it.
After realizing the gravity of the situation; the fact our business computers have extreme amounts of personal information, I asked for his supervisor, and after a brief second I was greeted by the same man! He pretended to be a manager named Gary, lol. "Gary" the Indian. I asked "Gary" for his contact information and got a number I typed into google as he gave it to me. i came up with this: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jul/18/phone-scam-india-call-centres. I, of coarse didn't let "Gary" on to this. I played along and fed him bullshit as I reported him to the FTC (http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/phonefraud/report.shtml) and emailed the ambassador to India as I trolled this fool.
The conversation ended by me telling him everything I have actually been doing while we were talking and the conversation ended with him hanging up abruptly. I read these fools have a call script and i gotta say its a perfect one to troll because once you get them off it they become blundering idiots, at least "Gary" was. Also, I read there are giant call centers in India that are calling random numbers here in the States and getting people to think they have viruses and intern telling them the only way to remove them is buying a "Anti-virus" program, but the program does quite the opposite, I'm sure you guessed. After talking to some coworkers I found this man has been calling almost daily trying to get us to work with him.
So, the moral of this story to my fellow Live Leakers is to BEWARE of these FUCKERS and if you think it may actually be Microsoft get there contact information and call back after researching it to make sure its legitimately them. Do everyone a favor if you get these calls and report it to the FTC (link above in paragraph 2) and or contact some sort of Indian official and complain, like yours truly, lol.
