@URmomsOBGYN, You do realize that this 47% figure includes Republicans who claim the credits and deductions required to skip owing taxes. People from all persuasions (and income levels) fall into the 47% bracket. Even big corporations can fall into that category. It's well known that the GE Corporation routinely avoids taxation. They are very much a part of the 47%.
That kinda blows the most liberals don't pay taxes theory out of the water doesn't it?

@URmomsOBGYN, Nah, 47% live virtually tax free and 53% don't. You will likely find both liberals and conservatives in both brackets.
We all try to maximize deductions to avoid paying taxes. 47% hit the sweet spot and they don't even have to be liberal to do it. To Romney the 47% are useless and to you they are mindless. Both of you alienate Republicans who are very much a part of the 47% by inaccurately labeling them mindless Obama voters.

The program is paid for with a charge on your phone bill called universal connectivity fee.As much as I hate walmart,they sell a service called straight talk.30 bucks for 1000 minutes or 40 for unlimited.Point is,you don't have to pay all these extra fees that you do with a contract or landline.
