Three suspects with a stolen safe in the back of their car launched a high-speed pursuit through Houston Tuesday.

In the dash cam video, at least three cruisers pursue the vehicle, which has a large safe hanging out the back of the partially open trunk. The suspects travel at high rates of speed before pulling over, crossing the median and running into oncoming traffic.

The officers exit their patrol cars and launch a foot pursuit. As police gesture to the person behind the camera to "get back," the car is seen burning in the background. The suspects are then taken into custody.

The three face burglary charges in connection with the theft of a 300-pound safe from a nearby home. They were identified as Michael Brown, Danta Smith and Harry Gradeny.
