Think oil companies should pay their fair share of taxes? So does President Obama.

We cannot allow a corporation to be profitable, we need them to come to Washington DC to beg for bailout money so we can control them. These oil companies are making a profit on the backs of our comrades! All profits should be the property of Central Planning! Central Planning will re-distribute these funds to those we feel need assistance, because we all know if left to the market, the money will simply go to those that think they earned it, without regard to the plight of the poor. Central Planning will take those profits and decide for all what is fair.

In his budget, the President has proposed cutting billions of dollars in unfair subsidies and tax loopholes for oil and gas companies, to help pay for critical priorities like clean energy and green jobs.1 After all, they don't exactly need the help: ExxonMobil made a record profit of $45.2 billion last year.2

Obama is proposing legislation to wipe out all profits of evil oil, thus raising the cost of driving, heating and cooling of your home, your electricity, the cost of food, the cost of all goods transported using anything related to oil, and every thing else that has the audacity to use the natural resources of our planet for a profit. Exxon/Mobile only paid 35 billion in taxes last year, and we can double that if we take all their profits, and use that money to build tax subsidized highly inefficient planet saving programs (DISCLAIMER: these programs don't work yet, but that does not matter, we have good intentions) .

But Big Oil is already fighting back. Like other corporate special interests, they're lobbying heavily to gut Obama's budget. The American Petroleum Institute has announced plans to fly top executives into Washington to help save their tax breaks.3

Oil companies are trying to survive. They wish to continue their evil 8-12% profit margin. Their goal is to make a profit and not share that with Central Planning. They think that if they tell the public that if they make no profit, they will go out of business, and the average consumer will suffer from the lack of availability of their products. Central Planning will not allow that, and Obama has a plan he will announce next year, or the year after, how he will replace that program.
