Cyclist has arm ripped off - Brazil

Around 5:30 am this sunday, a cyclist got hit by a car on the Avenida Paulista in São Paulo (Brazil). As a result, one arm of the cyclist got ripped off and got stuck onto the car.

Firemen took the victim to the hospital where he was in stable conditions. Police confirmed that the driver of the car fled the scene without helping out the victim. But later on, Alex Siwek - a 22 years old psychology student - did surrender himself to the police.

The driver told that when he drove off, the arm was indeed still stuck onto his car but that it must have fallen of by itself when he fled. Doctors claimed that it was still possible to reattach the arm of the victim.

That's when the police decided to redo the whole route together with the driver so that they could locate the arm. When they arrived at the final destination without having found the arm, the driver finally admitted that he had thrown himself the arm away. He had dumped it in some open air sewer.

This fine piece of human trash was charged with; attempted murder, fleeing the scene, DUI, and getting rid of the arm.

The arm still hasn't been recovered...
