Kolkata, June 12(ANI): The ostracized transgender community in Kolkata seeks refuge in the 'shelter homes' funded by UNDP. The shelter homes have been set up with an aim to provide them recognition in a society where they are shunned, reviled and often humiliated publicly. The place does not have any lavish arrangements…but the two room-kitchen house has become a haven for these marginalized people.
