WW2 Bomb Blast on 8/28/2012 in Munich after unsuccessful defusing
MUNICH - The Siege of the hype: A highly explosive bomb from World War II was blown up on Tuesday night, after unsuccessful attempts at defusing Schwabing district of Munich.
It went a lot of windows to break, it created small fires. The bomb had kept its forces and thousands of people for more than 24 hours in breathing.
After the dud on Monday discovered could not be defused as planned, he was blasted controls on Tuesday night a few minutes before 22.00 clock by specialists. The blast could be heard for miles in the great city of 1.4 million inhabitants, has been injured, according to fire at all the action yet.

happens all the time in germany. finding blind shells in rivers, construction sites, parks... yeah we walk on ticking timebombs over here.

That was some fireball !!!! Wow..
Amazing its been there for so long, and didnt go boom, until they made it go.
Mind blowing they keep finding these things around.
I liked the bizarre touch, of the German people cheering, on what might have been a british boom going of in their city hehe..
Oh well, a little safer for the people now, until they find the next one.

Bomb disposal experts are amazing characters .. very brave etc ... but not stupid .. quote ..............

“That is a chemical delayed-action detonator. I am not defusing that, I’m not suicidal,” he told the Münchner Zeitung newspaper on Monday night.

We finds German bombs here every day. I once saw a terrified trawlerman with an eight foot German parachute mine stuck in the net on the back of his boat.
