BP Cover-up in Pensacola, FLorida
BP finally announced, after knowing for over a month now, that there is still oil in Pensacola Bay. The band against fishing was lifted over a month ago as well. Three people who live on Perdido Beach have stepped forward and announced that they have oil and dispersant in their blood; claiming to have never stepped into the water after tar balls started washing up. YouTube user pcolagregg has even video taped BP workers covering the oil up with sand, instead of cleaning it up!

The oil must be hiding in the same place as the economic recovery.

heh, I have a buddy who works on boats and boat motors locally. he stays busy working on boats that come in from the gulf, covered with the crap BP left for us. One of his bigger customers bought two relatively new boats with the primary use as working for BP in it's "cleanup" and has told me several stories about huge patches still floating all over the place around Pensacola Beach.

If you want to impress, show some evidence. I doubt that the cleanup is over, and I believe that the Gulf will be messed up for years. But if you were to show evidence, then the vid would have more punch and less fear.

I agree completely. But it would also help an awful
lot if he explained this statement."The band against fishing was lifted over a month ago as well".What the fuck is a "band against fishing"?Cheers

horsechit...i was just in Pensacola and everything
is fine there. The residents blame the news media
for wrecking their business this summer not BP

as for the drilling ban, ain't that a useless knee-jerk reaction. Great way to crush tens of thousands of jobs, Barry.
Think about it - If a gas station were to have a tank leak, would it be wise to shut down all gas stations? Absolutely not. You deal with the problem by first examining the root cause of failure, then assess how such a failure may apply more broadly. Obama and Co. gets an F for that move.

Barry - ten of thousands of jobs? An oil platform employes less than 100 people. A gas station employes approximately 6 people. GET OVER IT! OIL AND WATER DOES NOT MIX!

Are you saying that the job los estimate isn't real? You have to think beyond the drilling platform and gas stations. Examples: You have scores of companies that support oil rigs such as piping supply, electronics, chemicals, even food service. The list goes on and on. It isn't such a small envoronment. Such a ban affects an entore sector of an economy.
