  • I was hoping that they were hitting the bottom of the shell with a hammer

  • They're lucky there wasn't an Indian dude out there catching the shells and throwing them back.

  • I wonder if their medics walk past and not help when a soldier is wounded.

I never thought of that. Excellent.

    • "image 2 millions Chinese soldiers all fire shells with their hands at the same time, the world ends".

Not 'the world ends', how about "THEIR world ends". The chins can fire their 2 million knock-off shells at each other all they want. Just 1 ICBM will send them back to the stone-age when they were eating dogs and rats for dinner. Wait...

    "Double kill"?

Someone needs to log off of CoD for a while.

  • I was hoping one of the soldiers had a huge comedy mallet to hit the back of the shell with.

  • With their bare hands.. Another poster fail.

    • @megahirtz Completely BS title. It's not even an artillery shell but a 107mm rocket, that doesn't require any launching rail. Of course when launching it for a few kilometers a rail would improves accuracy tremendously, but that not what they are doing in this clip.

  • Oh cool, they can fire shells with their bare hands? That's useful and will get them far. That rates up there with the videos of Russian Spetznaz doing backflips off mini trampolines and throwing Tomahawks while inverted - not useful in the very least.

A couple of well-placed JDAMs and all of their bullshit party tricks wouldn't be squat.

    • @Amanda_Hugnkiss Now I know why US economy got hit by spending on overboard user-friendly, sissy tools & gears.

      Posted Jan-8-2013 By

    • @tesko Yes, the US economy "got hit by overboard spending" because we invented the most lethal military technology ever devised. That *must* be the reason...

    • @Amanda_Hugnkiss Well it doesn't help that you spend billions on new stealth aircrafts that you don't really need.

    • @Caligula When's the last time Sweden contributed *anything* of note to the betterment of the entire world? I didn't see your country of 8 million doing anything worth note during WWI, WWII (except pandering to the Nazis), nor did have you intervened in any major world conflict since then (i.e. Libya or Kuwait).

    • @Amanda_Hugnkiss
No contributions? IKEA? Dynamite? Celsius? The safety match? The blow-torch? The safety belt? Spherical bearings? Pacemaker? Skype? Spotify?

We helped in the Korea war, Congo war, Kosovo and currently in Afghanistan. We sat back and remained neutral in WW1 and WW2. If we would have been involved, we would have been overrun in 3 weeks alá Norway. We are not stupid.

And if we are to compare our countries, then you know that your country has done a lot of bad things too, from M More..

  • That is in no way bare handed. Not like they were hitting them with a hammer or anything. Seeing how it would only be useful in an ambush situation why not just bury them and set them off remotely. FFS even Muslims figured that out.

    • @Stupid Flanders
Because you don't have to put a radio-trigger or some other sort of trigger on it, you can just do it & run... and as you see the terrain, it isn't exactly vehicle friendly.

      Posted Jan-9-2013 By

    • @Caligula they tape a detonator to it. Not exactly hard to step it up a notch to set it off remotely. They are also not going to have a chance to set it up properly in anything outside of an ambush situation. Sure you could just throw a shell down and set it off but its not likely to hit anything. I know China has a lot of man power but it shouldn't be wasted by having a guy break out his scale in combat to site a round. Besides in today's war there is a good chance they are seen by a drone anyw More..

  • stupid title. they do not fire it with their bare hands.

they fire it with a remote detonator.

  • "Chinese soldiers fire shells with their bare hands" anyone else read this then watch the video and be like "WTF?, why didn't they slap the rocket with their hands? or hit it with a hammer?" SO CONFUSE!

    Posted Jan-9-2013 By

    (4)

    • @JMG1397 I didn't watch the video but I'm guessing they hit the back of the rocket to ignite the primer.

      Posted Jan-9-2013 By

    • @EurJup2 They do, but it was one of the most misleading titles I've seen so far. I was expecting chinese soldiers hitting the back of the rockets with their helmets and probably shooting them "american football" style.

    • @Bolo When I seen "fire shells with their bare hands" it made me think of the last battle on Saving Private Ryan. When Tom Hanks and Matt Damon hit the end of the mortar rounds on the steel plate and threw them lol

  • Fucking retarded title shells explode in order to move, these are Chinese made 107mm rockets. Designed in the 60s they can be fired from either a typical MLRS tube configuration or fired accurately from any surface with nothing more than a compass, bubble level, protractor and basic math.

They were exported worldwide in their millions during the Cold War for use by communist guerrillas and many have found their way into places like Afghanistan and Libya. However the average Taliban can barely c More..
