World must consider war on Iran, Bolton says

Bushehr, Iran - Nuclear Facility
International interest in Iran was heightened dramatically in the summer of 2002, when the existence of two nuclear sites was revealed by an exiled Iranian resistance group. Within a year, the world realized that Iran had built or was building everything needed to produce enriched uranium, which could fuel nuclear weapons as well as nuclear reactors. The sites included a uranium mine at Saghand, a yellow cake production plant near Ardakan, a pilot uranium enrichment plant at Natanz, and a commercial-scale enrichment facility on the same site. In addition, Iran was continuing work on a 1,000 megawatt nuclear reactor at Bushehr and was building a heavy water production plant at Arak, next to which Iran planned to build a 40 megawatt heavy water reactor. Beginning in March 2003, following revelations that Iran had concealed nuclear work from the IAEA, the Agency has been investigating Iran's nuclear history

Active Atomic Projects
Some of plans and active centers of regime's nuclear programs, which are currently run by AEOI, are:
1 - Busher's nuclear power plant in Busher Province
2 - Arak's secret project in Central Province
3 - Center for Atomic Fuel in Isfahan
4 - Center for Atomic Research in city of Karaj in Tehran Province. In February 9, 2001, the 5 ton steam container in Hall #3 of this center, which is located in Karaj's technology district in Mottahari Ave., exploded. The explosion was due to the fact the fuel system of this device had recently been converted from diesel to natural gas without taking the required safety precautions.
5 - Research center in city of Bonab in East Azerbaijan Province
6 - Saghand research center in the city of Yazd in the Yazd Province
7 - Amirabad center for research and Reactor in city of Tehran
Front Companies for AEOI's programs
1 - Five years ago, the AEOI began establishing front companies in order to be able to advance its technological operation as well dealing with the foreign parties easily without using the AEOI's name. A deputy office under the name of Supervision of Companies was established in AEOI in this regard. Some of these front companies are:
--"Saukht Iran" company
--Mesbah Energy Company
--"Haste Sarayand" Company
--"Kaavosh Yaar" Company
--"Kaan Iran" Company
Isfahan Atomic center and Busher's nuclear plant each use several companies.
2 - All of the domestic and foreign procurements of the Center for Atomic Research (CAR) of the AEOI are done by Kaavosh Yaar Company.
3 - The revenue from sale of liquid nitrogen, which is one of CAR's products, are deposited to the bank account of Saakht Iran Company. This is company hires all contracted and non-official personnel of the AEOI and have them work there as its own employees.
4 - The budget for Kaan Iran Company is deposited into CAR's account by the AEOI and, in turn, CAR deposits this fund into Kaan Iran's account. The salary for many of the AEOI's personnel who work for centers affiliated with the AEOI is paid by Kaan Iran.

Israel may have developed a nuclear weapons capability incorporating enriched uranium. Up to 100 kilograms of enriched uranium missing from a facility at Apollo, Pennsylvania, are believed to have been taken to Israel, although other reports suggest that much of the material was recovered from the floors and ventilation ducts of the plant when it was decommissioned. In 1968, 200 tons of uranium ore disappeared from a ship in the Mediterranean Sea and probably diverted to Israel.
Plutonium production reactors which are both cooled and moderated by heavy water [like the Israeli reactor at Dimona] require about 0.75 tons of heavy water per thermal megawatt, and lose about 0.5 % of this heavy water each year.
"Dimona needed about 18t of heavy water to start operation.... France very likely agreed to supply Dimona's heavy water along with the reactor.... From 1959 to 1963 Israel imported 20t from Norway and 3.9t from the United States. This would supply Dimona indefinitely if the reactor stayed at its rated power of 24 megawatts.... For the reactor to produce the 40 kilograms of plutonium per year described by Vanunu, it would have had to be scaled up to more than 100 megawatts.... If the amount of coolant were quadrupled, which could allow quadrupled power, Dimona would need about 36t of heavy water — 12t of moderator and 24t of coolant. The 36t is slightly less than the total that Israel could have received from Norway, the United States, and France."

"Jafari is a professional that believes that any means justify the ends," an intelligence analyst said. "He is prepared to do anything to save the regime."
The analysts said Jafari was behind Iran's silent campaign to drive the U.S.-led coalition from Iraq. They said he organized the so-called Special Groups, comprised of Shi'ite cells trained and equipped by IRGC.

Vanunus anti-israeli stance
"We don't need a Jewish state," he said. "There needs to be a Palestinian state."
