A police dashboard camera has captured a Florida teen crying uncontrollably after he was arrested for shooting his parents.
Alex Crain, 14, wailed for several minutes while he sat alone in the back seat of the police car as officers investigated the deaths of Thomas and Kelly Crain at the Naples family home in December 2010.
"I'm sorry mum. I'm sorry dad," he sobs.
"I didn't, I swear, I didn't mean to kill them. I didn't even mean to hurt them."
The State Attorney's Office released the video on Wednesday, which is the first insight into the now-15-year-old's mindset after he shot his parents, Naples News reports.
"I shouldn't have done it," the tape shows a distraught Crain saying.
"What the f--k is wrong with me? I shot my own parents for no f--king reason."
Police found his parents in the master bedroom of the home on December 9 after receiving an emergency call around 8.30am, the ABC reports.
Crain reportedly walked down the driveway with his hands up and told police the gun was in the bathroom.
He has never spoken publicly about the murders, but said on tape that he didn't have a reason for shooting his parents.
The teen was tried as an adult and faced two manslaughter charges with a firearm last month, CNN reports.
He was sentenced to 20 years in jail.
