Republican Congressman’s Home Burns Down in Queens Fire
Rep. Bob Turner‘s home burned down last night in the Breezy Point fire in Queens.
Over 80 homes were destroyed in the fire last night.
Rep. Bob Turner (R-N.Y.) was one of the many whose homes burned down in widespread fires that devastated the Breezy Point community in Queens last night in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.
Officials estimated that anywhere from 80 to 100 houses were destroyed, according to The Associated Press.
Republican Turner replaced Anthony Weiner last year after the loudmouth Democrat resigned due to the Weinergate scandal.
