Storm Chasers Caught by Wichita Tornado

Storm Chasers Brad Maushart and Meteorologist Brandon Redmond lost radar data in the town of Wichita just before a mile wide, EF-3 wedge with wind speeds of apx. 160 mph smashed into the city's south east side. Trying to shoot east through a poor intercity road network blindly, the pair ended up getting blindsided. Start the video at 25 minutes or so to see what led up to the impact and at the 30 minute mark is when the tornado actually hits. There is a second video from a GoPro mounted on the roof. Start that footage at the 7 minute mark, just before impact.
