Missing Still Born Babies Located - Very Sad Story

Linette Ballestero was at Christus Santa Rosa hospital waiting to give birth to four babies, a high risk pregnacy. While in the hospital's care, hospital records show that nurses noted Linette was complaining of a tearing inside of her, and she started to ask for the babies to be removed.

She said the feeling was nothing like labor pains, which she had experienced with her older daughter. Three painful days later, she underwent emergency surgery to deliver the babies. Linette tearfully told us, "I knew before anybody told me. I knew my babies weren't well, and I had a strong feeling some of them didn't make it. I knew."

Three babies did not survive, and the fourth, a son named James, has severe brain damage, is blind and is deaf. Her loss was about to get worse with a bizarre twist. It happened after Linette returned home from the hospital.

"After everything I went through, the hospital lost my babies' bodies," she said. Wrapped in a blanket, their tiny bodies were mistakenly taken to the hospital's laundry facility nine miles away. Linette filed a lawsuit against her doctors and the hospital. We learned the case has now been settled out of court.

None of the parties involved are allowed to speak about the settlement because of a confidentiality agreement, but a hospital spokesperson tells us they are pleased with the mutual resolution. The doctors' attorney says they are happy with the agreement, as well, and "hope Linette can go on and raise her son, James, and is able to move forward."

While the legal battle has come to an end, the wounds of losing three children are still fresh and painful for this mom, but she says she is so grateful have James in her life. "I am so thankful to have him in my life. He heals, he is there to heal. I know God saved him to save me, I know that."

The greatest gift in life is to be blessed with a child. Love your kids, hug them every chance you get, tell them you love them even if they do not understand, and teach them compassion, tolerance, and selflessness.
