Car bomb hits market in north Iraq 7 civilians killed
A car bomb has killed at least seven people and injured many others at a busy fruit and vegetable market in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk.
It is the latest blast to hit Kirkuk, a city of about 250,000 people which is home to Kurds, Arabs and Turkmens.
In Baghdad, a US helicopter made a forced landing after reportedly hitting an electricity pole.
The two crew members were rescued with only light injuries.
