Codiac R.C.M.P. were first on scene of this Accident involving a White Cab and a Skateboarder on Connaught Ave. just after 4:00 P.M. Moncton Fire and Ambulance then responded to the call. Male skateboarder was transported to hospital with a head injury. Police were busy talking to witnesses, and totally blocked off Connaught Ave. and traffic was being rerouted onto Jones. Road conditions were dry at the time of the accident. Police were saying the street was going to be blocked off for awhile while they investigate. The taxi driver was shaken but uninjured, and his passenger got her packages out of the vehicle and said sorry as she was leaving. Police were asking Firefighters to wash blood off of the road.
