The Arab world has been protesting for a year and a half against the regime of Bashar Assad, the Syrian president slaughtering his own people.
That however, did not deter senior Palestinian Authority, Saeb Erekat, from warmly embracing and kissing one of it's most senior figures, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al - Moallem.


They met the day after a conference of non-aligned nations organization, hosted by Iran in Tehran. After speeches by Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Egypt Muhammad Mursi and UN Secretary General Ban Ki - moon, Iranian television recorded the dispersed participants them talking to each other.
