On April 10, hundreds marched on the White House, demanding the closure of the School of the Americas. The march from Dupont Circle featured possibly the most spectacular puppet parade here since the A16/2000 World Bank protests. At the White House, about 25 people were arrested for refusing to leave the White House sidewalk on Penn Ave.
