A Texas man whom claims police used excessive force on him during a traffic stop has filed a lawsuit against the Lubbock, Texas police department. The officer used a stun gun on the driver after the officer said the man refused to follow his order to get on the ground. The driver was tased six times before he was finally arrested but not formally charged with resisting arrest. The driver says the tasing constituted excessive force and plans to take the police department and numerous officers to court.
