Quite interesting film (2009) made by an Israeli director and brings the story of the impossible love between Amed and Isabella.
Amed, a young Palestinian and Isabella, a foreign worker from Brasil are trying to get along among the "mines" of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Amed's father is refusing to recognize his son love and want Amed to marry Hitam, Palestinian girl from the village, which has just returned from Islam studies in London.
Amed is being illegally entered into Israel for working by Marcus, his Jewish Boss. Both this fact and his love story gets Amed trapped by his surrounding when both the Shin Bet and the Hamas are trying to turn his life into a nightmare. Both sides are putting allot of pressure on him and he must choose.


'Different sky' tells the story of the little man which is located in the heart of the conflict but all he wants is to live a normal life.



The movie is spoken both in Arabic and Hebrew, with Israeli and Arab actors, located both in Palestine and Tel-Aviv, showing a unique story of love, survival and faith.
