15 armed Taliban killed in provinces

Kabul (BNA) 15 armed Taliban insurgents were killed in mopping up
operations by national police forces in the several provinces of the
country yesterday. According to interior ministry press office, the
national police forces with cooperation of national security and
coalition forces conducted mopping up operation in the vicinities of
Kapisa, Baghlan, Jouzjan, Kandahar, Zabul, Urozgan, Maidan-Wardak,
Ghazni, Khost, Paktika and Helmand provinces in which 15 armed Taliban
insurgents were killed. 2 PK machine guns, 6 Kalashnikovs, 3 sets of
communication, 4 mines, and 600 kg of explosive materials, 8 motorbikes
and 2 vehicles were seized by the national police forces.
