I think American football as well as soccer are silly.
Goto a football game and be surrounded by drunken fools, or goto a soccer match and be surrounded by hooligans fighting over femanine players.
I personally think the guy on the roof just suddenly realized he was at a soccer match and attempted the only reasonable act..... lol

my favorite soccer club went down in second division, I remember it as a sad day, and 7 years later they were third in the first division, they played the champions league and did great matches against manchester united, parma, deportivo.
It's not worth to commit suicide for a football game.

I've heard of people killing themselves because they first lost their job, lost their house, cars got reposessed, wives cheated on them, kids started using drugs, and out of desperation, the man has an affair with a $5 hooker and got AIDS and an order of genital warts while watching Obama's inauguration. After going through all that, I could see a man wanting to kill himself.
But over a stupid ass sports game? WTF is wrong with people!?!?
