Community leaders and tourists in Turkey have condemned the kidnapping of a priest from the ancient Syriac Christian community. Edip Daniel Savci was kidnapped on Wednesday by unknown persons in the southern Turkish province of Mardin; a ransom of 300,000 Euros has been demanded.
