@blandadrops no...AK74 uses 5.45x39. This gun uses 7.62x25. Not the same.

@bluedoggg Correct.This is the round used in the Tokarev pistol,and the PPSH41 and PPS44.It is a pistol cartridge, the 7.62x39 AK47/AKM round. The AKS-74 is 5.45.

Basically a simplified clone of the German Maschinenpistole 40. The 7.62x25mm round proved to be more capable round than the 9x19mm fired by the MP 40.
