Controversial Grand Canyon Flood Water Release
This item updates item 'Manmade flood unleashed in Grand Canyon '
Four bypass valves were opened today at the Glen Canyon dam to help restore the Grand Canyon ecosystem.
The release will reduce the level of Lake Powell by about 3 feet over 3 days.
