Shooter, starring Mark Wahlberg, is the latest in a burgeoning trend of recent movies that carry a strong anti-government sentiment - the film is both political commentary and a damning expose of how the state stages black-ops in order to achieve political agendas.
The film centers around a character called Bob Lee Swagger, played by Mark Wahlberg, a Marine sniper who retires from the military after his friend is killed while fighting in Ethiopia.
The first scene shows the two targeting a convoy of armed militants and dispatching them via a long range high caliber sniper rifle in order to protect an American convoy. As more militants arrive, the mission becomes impossible and army command leaves
