Blind, glow-in-the-dark millipedes
Millipedes are easily distinguished from the somewhat similar and related centipedes because they have 2 pairs of legs per body segment whereas centipede have a 1 pair of legs for each body segment.
Experiments suggest this somehow helps reduce their predation.

@passive_observer Your observation that they are "fluorescing" rather that"glowing" is definitely more accurate, even though here, the common usage of glow would be acceptable.
Kind of like using the word "fag" to negatively describe a person's sexuality is not in accordance with it's actual meaning:
