I assume you are a little confused when it comes to ranks. You appear to think that a Brigadier General is better than just a General.
Brigadier General is actually the lowest class of General. Normally they are just called Brigadier.
All the other 'Generals' that have defected were Brigadiers as well.
In the Syrian Army a Brigadier is equivalent to maybe a Lieutenant Colonel in the British / American Army - plus or minus.

@SpeckFettGulag well think about it, if you are an FSA member and come across some bodies what is better propaganda 1. We have killed some of the Asad criminals or 2. The SAA have killed some of us. With No 1 you have positive propaganda and with 2. you make your self look weak. Remember the first victim of war is the truth.

I think there is a phantom shoe thief operating somewhere, i do not believe anything I read from this place. If there god is so great why do they butcher each other like cattle and give the dead no respect. It is just an excuse for uncivilised people to kill for kicks. @maxwellthebest Actually they would have a reason... They more bloodshed they can show in that country gets them closer to having international help.. Same in Libya where there were documented cases of civilians being killed and shown on tv as "Gaddafi's men" putting pressure on the international community to react... I'm not saying that this is for sure happening in this vid but i also don't rule it out
