Robbers Jumping Through to-go Window at Crown Fried Chicken

Time on date on video off by 10 years.

Two armed robbers vaulted through the to-go window of a Crown Fried Chicken joint during a robbery in Queens earlier this month, police said Thursday.

Wearing masks and waving guns, the men rushed past terrified employees of the Merrick Blvd. fast food joint and swiped hundreds of dollars from the register, police said.

The men - who are still at large - have struck three times in Queens Village in the last two weeks, investigators believe.

They have twice victimized that same Crown Fried Chicken branch, once on August 6 and then again on Saturday, police said.

Both times the men leaped through an outside service window, blowing past startled customers waiting for their food.

They struck again Monday, this time holding up a Dunkin' Donuts on Merrick Blvd. just a few blocks from the chicken joint.

One of their robberies was captured on surveillance video, which was released by police Thursday.

Investigators described one suspect was 5'10", 170 lbs. who wore a black shirt, black jeans and a black mask.

His accomplice was described as 5'6", 170 lbs. who wore a black hooded sweatshirt with black pants and a red mask.
