EUGENE, Ore. — A Eugene police officer has been reprimanded for his arrest of a man handing out leaflets at a church last December. According to a police report written by McBride, Hart — a former Eugene officer — called police to complain that Stinnette had been aggressively approaching churchgoers with leaflets claiming their pastor was previously involved with a controversy at another church in Southern Oregon.
