A man accused of exposing himself to female joggers and students was arrested Wednesday.

Joel Michael Wooldridge, 31, of Monroe, has been charged with two counts of breaking and entering with intent to commit a misdemeanor, four counts of indecent exposure and one count of trespassing.

The charges came after several “incidents of indecent exposure” to runners and walkers in the 1500 block of Langhorne Road and at the intersection of Boonsboro and Parkland roads, on Rivermont Avenue and on Lakeside Drive, according to a Lynchburg Police Department news release.

On Friday, investigators said, a man drove to the Central Virginia Community College campus and walked into the women’s restroom in one of the buildings. He tried to get into an occupied stall before he fled.
Security cameras captured him leaving campus in a blue two-door car, possibly a Chevrolet, according to a police news release.
The same man also had been seen on the campuses of Randolph College and Lynchburg College, police said.

Anyone with any information on these crimes or similar incidents is asked to call Lynchburg Police Det. C.M Byrne at (434) 455-6170 or M.R. Soyars at (434) 455-6160.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
