A robber walked into a Ruffin Grocery with what appeared to be a gun.

The store clerk could tell the semi-automatic pistol was fake because it didn't have a barrel. So when the robber asked for money, the clerk refused and pushed the robber away.

Police believe the man robbed two other stores in less than a week.
He was wearing a sweatshirt with the letters FBI on it.

There's a reward up to $1,000.
