11/10/2009, Balneário Piçarras, SC, Brazil - Armed with a knife, Jackson Fernando Martins, 21 years old, robbed a house where a 42 year old woman and her 7 year old son were in. He took electronic gadgets and about US$100.00. The police found him in the bushes near a beach supposedly consuming drugs. After a brief chase by motorcycle, he dived and swam 2km into the sea. A helicopter had to be called to capture the robber.
