  • Impressive but I guarantee the console version wont look close to anything like what we just saw. Lets face it ps3 and xbox blow.

    • @lucidx1 not true ps3 has blue ray and doesnt general have stupid cartoon avatars, pc will always be the powerhouse.

i just want the matrix to be real , 40 years who knows where we will be.

No, I mean, PC is superior for everything in every way shape or form over any console that will ever be made. There will always be a computer more powerful than a console. Their avatars have nothing to do with my remark.

You are right the consoles could not handle any of that. Thats all for the pc. The consoles are holding back development. The good news is most new pc games can still be handled with ease by my pc. The bad news is most developers dont bother advanceing the tech.

There's to much consideration for the consoles for things to progress as quickly as they should, I agree. But it also helps with improvements of performance alongside graphical quality. Once the new generation of consoles come out I'm sure we'll see some pretty good new gaming technology though.

  • Crysis 2 was one of the worst games I ever played. Crysis though, was pretty good.

    • @lucidx1 I really liked Crysis 2, but really only after the DirectX 11 patch tho...

It would have been a good game if it wasn't supposed to be Crysis, everything that made Crysis (first one) unique was taken away in Crysis 2, no destructible environments, open world gameplay and fun, dynamic combat. Crysis 2 would have been better if they made a lot of changes to it and didn't call it Crysis at all. I just get very disappointed when I see games flop to appeal to different people rather than their core audience. Lots of people would agree about Crysis 2. This like like More..

That's just my opinion though, I know others disagree, I'm the last one to zealously defend videogames and whatnot. Everyone has their own preference.

    • @manontherun111 umm ps3 is close to pc, pc is king, xbox 512ram and is a paper weight in todays world. only fan boys say otherwise

    • @nowhereman1 umm ps3 is still running directx9 this is running dx11 , so i would say ps3 is defo behind pc and by a long way in fact. I dont think you get proper tesselation on ps3 so all these fancy effects will just appear as normal polygon graphics.

    • @nowhereman1 A conservative estimate on my computer would be at least 6 ps3's duct taped together, ps3 is soooo 2006...

you gonna tell me that 2 i7 990x's and 2 gforce GTX 680's are only slightly better then a ps3? lol.

and honestly 360 games always look better then the ps3 version but exclusives look better on ps3. i have every console this generation has to offer and buy all my multiplatform games on pc or xbox.

    • @manontherun111 yeah console ports can really suck sometimes, hopefully they have put more effort into this than crysis2 which when released actually felt like it was on ps3 even tho i was playing it on pc!
